5-Dec-2007 - We've posted an updated version of TomTom Navigator for Pocket PC in the members download area. This fixes the problem introduced by version 6.030 in that TrafCam would not receive correct data from the TomTom GPS program.

15-Oct-2007 - New Low Prices for TrafCam! As the TomTom Go software has been quite popular at the lower subscription rate, we've now dropped the price of all TrafCam subscriptions to £29 per annum. All the features of the product are still present, but at a lower overall cost per year.

29-Mar-2007 - TrafCam for TomTom Go is now finally available. Most of the more recent development work has been to do with the installer program (now known as the "Control Centre") rather than the on-device software, and only experience will tell whether we've covered enough possible problems on that as people download it. In a new departure, we've got a free trial version of the software available. More information is available on the Product Page.

17-Jan-2007 - We've just finished testing the Fujitsu-Siemens PocketLoox T810 device with TrafCam. It's a Windows Mobile 5 device with a built-in GPS receiver and mobile phone functionality, and it also has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity. It's a little large for a phone, but not as large as the first-generation XDA-type devices were. The square screen required a couple of adjustments to the program (we'd tested it on emaulators, but not on an actual device) but all is well now in version 2.01 which will be available for download this week. We'd like to thank Fujitsu-Siemens Computers for arranging the loan of this device for us to test with TrafCam.

14-Jan-2007 - our stand at the Autosport International show at the NEC was very busy over the weekend, with a lot of interest in our upcoming software for the TomTom Go range of Personal Navigation Devices (PNDs). Development on this continues, with the program installer now being top priority.

25-Oct-2006 - TrafCam for Windows Mobile 5 is now available for download from the members area of the web site. This initial release has the same basic features and appearance as TrafCam for earlier Pocket PC devices, with full support for high resolution and square screens.

20-Oct-2006 - TrafCam for Pocket PC is now tested and approved for use with TomTom Navigator version 6. The same software download works with versions 5 and 6 of the TomTom product.

19-May-2006 - TrafCam for Pocket PC is now much easier to install. Instead of providing a download in the form of a zip file which the user must unzip before installing, the new download is a single executable file which will automate most of the program installation procedure. The EVB Runtimes are also repackaged in this way.

17-May-2006 - An updated version of TrafCam for Series 60 phones is now available. This version improves the display, and provides more feedback to the user to show GPS connection state. It also gives more warning when a GPS fix is lost, or when the GPS disconnects.

3-Apr-2006 - For a limited time, all new TrafCam subscriptions are available at a standard price of £49 for the first year. Any current promotion codes that offer a percentage discount from the retail price will be applied to this new price, making it even easier to buy a TrafCam subscription.

17-Feb-2006 - An updated version of TrafCam for TomTom Navigator v5 on Pocket PC is now available on request. It addresses one or two minor issues reported by subscribers, and also includes an option to sample GPS data more quickly during a camera warning so the screen is updated more often.

1-Feb-2006 - A new version of TrafCam for the Garmin iQue M5 is now available. This runs at the same time as the navigation software that is supplied with the iQue M5.

21-Jul-2005 - A version of TrafCam to run with TomTom Navigator Version 5 is now available. It requires the 5.10 update from TomTom to work properly (or at all, really). It is based on the current version of TrafCam for Pocket PC which includes camera direction and speed limit information where available.

06-Jul-2005 - An updated release of TrafCam for TomTom Navigator v1.5 to v3 includes the additional camera information and warning options.

20-Jun-2005 - An updated release of TrafCam for Microsoft Pocket PC devices now includes additional information such as speed limits, road names and directions in the camera database.

13-Jun-2005 - The web site now offers new subscribers the option to pay on-line using our payment processing providers, SecPay. If you choose this method, once a successful payment has been received the software can be downloaded straight away.

17-May-2005 - An updated release of TrafCam for Palm OS includes support for directional camera warnings. Users can choose to have silent warnings if the camera is registered in our database as pointing away from the direction they are travelling in.

20-Apr-2005 - Work begins on an updated version of TrafCam for Microsoft Pocket PC / Windows Mobile devices. This is an interim update to include additional information in the camera database - speed limit, road name and direction - and some minor new preferences such as whether to warn if travelling below the speed limit.

21-Mar-2005 - Updated manuals for TrafCam on Pocket PC devices are now available to subscribers for download.

4-Mar-2005 - TrafCam Version 2 for Palm OS, updated program now available to subscribers. This new version of the software should address the issues that users of older hardware - such as the Palm m505 and m130 devices - were finding with general performance. It also improves the display of the camera warning screen. More details...

09-Feb-2005 - The List of tested devices has been updated to not use pop-up screens any more. It has also been expanded to include more specific information where available.

09-Dec-2004 - The first general release of TrafCam Version 2 for Palm OS is now available.

24-Nov-2004 - TrafCam Version 2 for Palm OS is now available as a "beta" download for subscribers. This new software is compatible with old and new Palm OS devices, including the Palm Tungsten range, and the Garmin iQue 3600.

8-Sep-2004 - Added support for subscribers who wish to pay using PayPal.

6-Aug-2004 - A new release of TrafCam for Pocket PC is now available, for those users who do not run alongside TomTom Navigator.

21-Jul-2004 - A new release of TrafCam for Pocket PC is now avaiable, for those users who run at the same time as TomTom Navigator.

2-Jul-2004 - The members download area now includes a link to download the Microsoft Embedded Visual Basic runtime files, which are needed if you want to run TrafCam on a device which uses Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003. For some reason, MS have decided not to include these files when the device ships.

28-Jun-2004 - Added a new page GPS, which gives a very basic overview of how GPS works.
