TrafCam for Palm OS

TrafCam for Palm OS runs on most devices which run the Palm Operating System, and provides visual and audible warning as you approach a speed camera location.

Feature Summary:

• Display 'twist' option to expand PDA mounting options in the car

TrafCam for TomTom Navigator on Pocket PC

TrafCam for TomTom Navigator runs on the Microsoft Pocket PC platform at the same time as the TomTom Navigator software package. When a camera is found within range, TrafCam will 'take over' from the Navigator display so that you can see and hear the warning. When you have passed the camera, or when you acknowledge the warning by pressing the display, Navigator will return to the foreground.

This software is included in the TrafCam for Pocket PC subscription - it's not a separate subscription. To buy, just choose 'TrafCam for Pocket PC' from the list and you have the choice of which to download.

If you have an earlier version of TomTom Navigator, such as 1.21, you need to contact TomTom to upgrade to at least 1.50 as the earlier versions do not support the link that TrafCam uses. If you are using TomTom Navigator v5, you must get at least the 5.10 update from TomTom. If you are using TomTom Navigator version 6, note that the 6.030 update will prevent TrafCam from working.

TrafCam for Nokia Series 60 runs on popular mobile phones and provides warning via a Bluetooth GPS receiver as you approach a speed camera. Nokia Series 60 phones include the Nokia 3650, 6600, 7610, 7650, N-70, N-Gage and Siemens SX-1 models. More new models are being released all the time by Nokia and other manufacturers around the world. TrafCam is not currently compatible with phones based on Series 60 third edition.

TrafCam for TomTom Go provides audible and visual warning of a speed camera location on the navigation display. A sound is made when a camera first comes into range, and repeatedly as you get very close to the camera. An icon is drawn on the navigation display to show the location and speed limit of the camera.
